Child Education

Building Donation for Janta High School Bemaru – Our organization developed an Earthquake resistant Community Shelter in Village Bemaru with the Support of CAPART in the coordination of HESCO and later this building of around 1200 sq feet donated for a Janta High School. Later this school got State Govt Affiliation. The cost of this building during 2000-2003 was approx 4.0 lakhs.
National Environment Awareness Campaign – With the help of Uttarakhand Sewa Nidhi Almora and MoEFCC we organized the annual Paryvaran Jagrukata Abhiyan and Massive plantation drive in Dasholi block of Chamoli from 2004- to 2009. Under this program, we have trained School children for plantation, Folk Media campaigns, Awareness rallies, etc.
EESS- Environment Education in School System- With the Support of CEE Ahmedabad, SFCID and ESF- Organization have initiated Environment Education in School System in 30 Schools around Pipalkoti – During 2001-2003.
Paryvaran Mitra Program – April 2012 to Feb2013- Our organization organized – Paryvaran Mitra Program in 800 Schools of 4 District- Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, and Dehradun of Uttarakhand. Under this program, we trained more than 40,000 students participated. More than 250 schools received –PM awards under this program. This program was Coordinated by – CEE Himalaya and supported by Arcelors Mittal.

Future Program For School Children

Establishment of Rural Library – The organization is developing a small library for the rural Children on the campus – Pipalkoti with a sitting facility of 20 students at a time. This library will have School course books, books for competitive exams, Environment, current affairs, Gazetteers, etc.
Training Centre for Eco-tourism and local resource-based employment- We are trying to develop a training centre for different vocational programs and local resource-based employment generation. More details are available on this website separately as a training program. The organization aims to provide innovative education and local resource-based employment related educational programs to the youths of Uttarakhand Himalaya.
