SERVICES

The organization is working for the local resource-based employment generation for the poor. We provide services related- Micro planning, SHG formation, Environment education in the school system, and training to the rural farmer for organic farming, poultry, dairy development, composting, and fruit processing. We organize low and high-altitude treks for the students and researchers apart from this we also organize bird watching and  Biodiversity related studies in the region.

Homestays

We have developed more than 18 homestays around the Panchkedar trek and Biotourism park of the organization. The homestays are economical and will provide interaction with the local community, food, cuisine, drinks such as Rhododendron and Malta juice, wild edible fruits and mushrooms.

Trek and Trail

We organize low and high altitude treks for the Children above 14 years and also help them in environmental studies including Bird watching, Study of Butterflies and local biodiversity .

Himalayan Food Products

We develop Rhododendron squash which is good for the heart and have cooling effects apart from this we prepare - Juice, Jam, Pickles, Local Mountain Millet based biscuits. Organic pulses and culinary herbs are available with the organization including herbal tea.

Volunteer and Learn

 We developed - Natural fiber-based Eco fiber- made of Himalayan Nettle (Girardinia heterophylla), Industrial Hemp ( Canabis sativus)   and Bheemal ( Grewia optiva). The items are stoll, scarf and plain fabric.

Let us join hand for the Himalayan Windows program of the organization come and serve Himalaya with your expertise and we will take care of your Stay food and local travel at a very low cost. If you wish to be part of our programs and projects we welcome you. Bio tourism park is a Himalayan open lab come here with your dreams and make them success. 

We offer local cuisine made of local rice, Wheat, Mountain millet, fruits, and vegetables. Kheer is made of Jhangora, AARASA- sweet dish made of Rice flour and Jaggery (GUD). Local fruit juices and chutneys are available for the guests.

Trek Routes

Pipalkoti-Panchula Alpine Meadows

This is a low altitude mild trek very suitable for environmental education of school and college students. The craft village Kiruli located on the trek will provide homestay for the trekkers or nature enthusiast. Homestays will be developed in village Kiruli mostly of the artisan and Rudiya family. The trek leads to Panchula passing through evergreen central Himalayan temperate and alpine forest having more than 200 plant species and bird, butterflies, insects, reptiles etc. This trek starts from an altitude of 1200 meters at village Gadora located on national highway-58. It leads to an altitude of 1700 meters on top lush green alpine meadows. This trek is also very suitable for winter trekking. A total distance of around 22kms will be covered.

 

The Valley of Flowers

The Valley of Flowers National Park, the paradise on Earth is a gentle trek that starts from Govindghat, which is 55 kms from Pipalkoti. There are around 550 different species of flowers in this valley, different flowers blossom at different times of the year and the beauty of the valley cannot be described in words.
